The Apple iphones may have trailblazed the third-generation technology in mobilesets, but when we talk about the ultimate business requirements, BlackBerry and Windows Mobilephone take the coveted credit. In fact the happening iPhone software 2.0 is also rejected for its failing enterprizing output. We delve into the topic to discover 5 major problems associated with the iPhones business applications-

The biggest worry identified with iphones is its security and manageability. The iphone software doesn’t even lie anywhere near to the excellent BlackBerry Enterprize server and Microsoft’s Center Mobile Device Manager. Both the competent software applications are touted to be the best in regard to security applications.

The next shortcoming lies in its own ActiveSync technology. In comparison to WindowsMobile, the Active Sync features incorporated in the iPhone fall short of certain critical features like the ability to prevent users from downloading third party software or the potency to turn-off expensive international data roaming.

The patch deployment issues again let down the cool smartphones. Mostly users download application to their iPhones through iTunes set up that further route you to the web-based App store. Now, this application is still not acceptable by companies at large.

The Fourth weakness is in its application provisions. Having 500 applications integrated in its iPhone software is quite impressive, but one cannot deny the abounding number of 18,000 applications embedded in Windows Mobile phones.

The last one is its faulty carrier and cost option. You need to pay the hefty price for owning a smartphone, which can be matched to the investment you make in BlackBerry and Windows Mobile. The Apple has signed a single carrier in each market in contrast to the multi-carrier availability of BlackBerry and Windows Mobile phones.
