Off late, there have been many rumors regarding iPhone 3G and Wal-Mart. The latest to join them is that Wal-Mart plans to see off iPhone before the end of the year. Mac Rumors are saying that iPhone 3G, 8GB and 16GB will all be available on December 28th, 2008.
There are also expectations that Wal-Mart, the largest retailer in U.S., will be selling iPhone at a price, which would be $2 less than Apple, AT&T and Best Buy ranging between $197 and $297.
Some of the Wal-Mart workers said that they don’t have any idea of what Wal-Mart would be charging for the iPhone and that Apple is currently selling the 8GB version and 16GB version for $199 and $299 respectively.
On the other hand, Wal-Mart’s corporate headquarters, did not confirm any such expectations. A spokeswoman said only that “we are not making an official announcement at this time.”
