If your iPhone updated to version 1.1.3 and left you with out of order text messages, Apple has issued a document on their site that claims it will fix the problem for you. Stemming from what they believe to be an inconsistency between the internal clock and the carrier clock. The fix according to them? Simply turn off your Automatic Date / Time Updates and all will be solved. Unfortunately, this hasn’t been the case. From my own personal experience, I had it on Automatic and found myself with out of order text messages. I reformatted my iPhone twice and still had the issue. When this guide finally came out, I was pumped to hear that a fix was in sight, but unfortunately, turning this feature off did nothing but cause me to get to wake up 5 minutes earlier than I needed to.
Apparently I’m not the only one with this issue. According to forums and blog posts all over, the results are proving to be mixed, as some people are ending up with their text messages properly configured. What does that mean for the rest of us? Perhaps a trip to the Genius Bar will wind me up with one of those phones that isn’t effected by this issue.

This happens to me! I don’t know what to do!
