Google is here offering great opportunities for the brightest, best young scientists from around the world. Everything they have to do is to submit fresh and creative projects that are relevant to the world today.

If you would like to participate in this project and don’t know where to start, or you need something like inspiration or a push in the right direction, enjoy the promotional video from Google, it covers a huge variety of activities which can lead you to a fantastic result.

So, Google Science Fair is now open and it is valid to students aged 13 to 18 from around the world. Everybody concerned are welcomed to work on their own or in a team of two or three. There are numerous prizes to get, such as internships, scholarships and even an amazing 10 day trip to the Galapagos Islands with National Geographic Expeditions.

With the Goggles visual search application, Google claims to take the iPhone users to a level where Google can only think of doing it.

This is an attempt to take Google search to another level by adding another feature to its world leading search function. This application will enable users to search items with photographs. The application is still at the development stage, many feel that this app is way too ambitious to come true.

Google Earth for iPhone updated to 2.0

Google announced the version 2.0 with some improved features which include exploring the application in different languages and with improved performance. The latest update gives you the opportunity to view maps by using My Maps interface after logging to Google Maps account.

You can even view maps that are created by others. The update to the application ensures an amazing experience with its ability to provide you with information about places that help you discover different new parts of the world. Apart from this, it also allows you to view images and Wikipedia articles. To simplify your experience of browsing, there is a glow under the icons which you touch and in case you touch more than one icon, you are taken to a list of the icons from where you can select the one of your choice.

Google Translate for iphone

It wasn’t long back when Google made its applications inter-operable on several devices. Thus, the latest one is the Google translate service which has recently hustled its way to the inevitable iphones.

However, it will be only available as a web application and not as a self-contained isolated application. So, it means you need online services to access the service. The trial Google version confirmed 200-400 translations per 1mb of data.
