1.1.3-jailbreak

Jailbreaking the iPhone 3G 2.1/2.2 enables you to get an access to sounds, themes, games and lets you install a number of other third party applications. You can use MMS, emulators and adult content as well. However, you must make sure that by running the jailbreaking software you are not jeopardizing the warranty of the iPhone.

Jailbreaking your iPhone opens up a world of free applications before you. Applications such as the Terminal and theming which looks nice and adds to the fun are easily available. The homescreen unlocking on a 2.5G iPhone also becomes very easy. This is achieved if you try the method of neutering by performing a completely reversible unlock on the baseband. Unlocking the baseband is somewhat difficult on 3G iPhones and you are dicey even if you happen to unlock the baseband.

While Apple is busy raking major orders of the iPhone 3G, it looks other cellphone

Companies are on an apparent decline. Atleast, this is what latest industry report has to reveal. According to the NPD, only 28 million cell phones were sold this quarter, thereby leading to a 13% year-to-year decline in the mobile phones business. Going specifically by model numbers, reports suggests a definite success rate of motorola mobiles.

It’s not all bad news though. Cellphones bearing QWERTY keyboards saw a hike of 28% in their sales and demand of the smartphones have also increased by 9%.By witnessing a rise on the prices of the cellphones sold, one can predict that consumers are spending more money on their favorite handset since the release of iPhone, well same holds true for Blackberry and HTC.

The official document also dropped a dime on mobileSafari. Since the release of iPhone, Safari has nearly doubled its market share to 0.31%.The effect of newly launched iPhone 3G have started showing up..Isn’t it?

The all new iPhone 3G is an ensemble of technological innovation and amazing user-friendly features. Living by its 3G standard, iPhone 3G allows you to access websites and download videos (as from YouTube) much faster. Apple has in fact incorporated a large number of modifications in the iPhone 3G, which has made it far more appealing than ever before.

And it is worth mentioning that for a company like Apple, which is not from a cell phone manufacturing origin, it has done admirably well. Perhaps that is why it has got the ability to compete with other smart phone manufacturers. Apple has done a major hardware change by including the Global Positioning System (GPS) chip which allows you to find out even post offices, bars, restaurants etc. in your vicinity on the basis of your location, irrespective of the cell towers which shows your location.

You can geo-tag and get directions also with the help of the GPS chip. Moreover, the new iPhone 3G is more comfortable to hold, as it has got a slightly curved back of plastic. The price tag attached to the iPhone 3G is also more reasonable and appealing. It is $199 for 8 GB and $299 for 16 GB. The new iPhone 3G has also allowed users to add more applications, software and support services such as Microsoft Exchange support etc.
