It is a wonderful game which gives you an absolute feel of the challenges of the carnival ball- toss with its sounds and required skills and adds an amount of style and fun to your pocket at the same time.
Priced at $1.99, the Ramp Champ application has four different levels of ball toss challenges. The levels range from three rows of clown targets to a more familiar looking garden of bitmapped icons. You have the opportunity to score and win prizes at each level if you are able to knock down the clowns, invaders, fish or icons. You also get an award for excellent performance if you succeed to match one of the three bonus conditions that are set for the level. You can also collect prize tickets after each session to turn in the gallery of the application which is virtual stuffed stuff.
The game is simple yet very addictive. But there is also likelihood that your thumbs become sore after repeatedly flicking the ball. The Ramp Champ has a stunning look keeping up the reputation of the Iconfactory projects to produce consistent and visually appealing games. It really soaks you into a carnival feel. It is simple yet highly immersive game. The game though has a striking similarity to many other 1.0 iPhone applications. However, it has a tendency of crashing early on and requires you to clear out your memory before you start playing it.
