The search engine called Bing which was only available on Windows mobile and Blackberry devices will now also be available on your iPhone. Microsoft has kept their promise and released the application much to the delight of the iPhone users. The application also comes with an upgraded version of voice search and location built services and is available for free on the Apple application store. The voice based search feature of this application means that the users can use it for map locations and for convenient search queries.
The application, according to Microsoft, would tell the users about the nearby restaurants, coffee shops and movie theatres and not only that, it would also provide directions so that the users can easily walk or drive to that place. The map feature has a very smooth mapping action by the help of which the users can easily swipe through each and every step of the direction by putting the fast zoom and pan options to use. Another exciting feature of the Bing iPhone application is that its home screen would display a new image everyday. Users can also navigate to images, maps, businesses, news and movies by using the six tabs included in the application.
The wonderful application also has features to provide daily facts and latest update about the weather and flights. It would be interesting to see how the search engine fares up in a market which is heavily dominated by Google. There are rumours that Microsoft would soon be releasing more mobile application which could be used on the Facebook and Twitter.
