The pictures released by the developer very clearly shows it to the jailbreaking community and the users that the iPad 3 is running Cydia on iOS 5.1.1 which is possible only after jailbreaking the device. This surely is a matter of great exclamation as only a couple of month has passed since the launch of the latest gadget by Apple. The technologies used in it and the protections taken against jailbreaking have right away been teased by the developer. However, the jailbreaking tactics have not been shared by the developer.
