It seems like Apple wants to hide about the launch of the 3G model of the iPhone. It is rumoured to be available in the summer month. But when asked the executives at the company declined. Do they fear that on hearing about the 3G phone, people who are planning to buy iPhone will wait for the new version and their stock will get waste?

Already Apple has achieved a sales milestone of more 1.7 million iPhones in the recent financial year. In U.S. and Europe the stock became low. However, the company is working to meet the demands.

The Chief Financial Officer Peter Oppenheimer commented that they are confident that they will reach their goal of selling 10 million iPhones in calendar 2008. Yeah! This can also be one of the reasons to maintain silence on the 3G iPhone model. They want to establish a sales record.

Well, here is good news. Apple is planning to deliver iPhone 2.0 software as a free download.
