Apple has announced that the latest version of the iPhone series, iPhone 4 is now available for pre-order. It is available at Apple.com, Best Buy and AT&T stores. The pre-orders for the iPhone 4 are open across the US already, ahead of the scheduled release on June 24. This latest iPhone has been highly anticipated and is expected to be a major draw amongst all iPhone lovers.
The iPhone 4 announced earlier this month during the WWDC comes in two versions. The 16 GB version will cost $199 and the 32GB version is priced at $299 for new customers of AT&T or existing customers that qualify for lowest upgrade pricing. Amongst the many new features that have been added to this device, the most prominent is the new and high resolution screen that gives it a great look. It also features a much faster processor compared to the previous versions and is also laced with the iOS 4.
The pre-ordering is intended to help customers avoid the mad rush after the release on June 24. By pre-ordering, customers can rest assure that they get their handset without any problem and will not have to be a part of the madness that is expected after the release.
Earlier, pre-ordering an iPhone from Best Buy required a deposit of $50, but this time isn’t clear if any deposit would be required. In any case, people are already vying for it and by the look of things it seems Best Buy is the best place to place a pre –order.
