Apple has finally announced that it will offer free cases to iPhone 4 buyers. These cases also called bumpers will be given to those who purchase iPhone 4 on or before September 30, 2010. It has been a while since Apple had promised of this offer and now it has finally kept the promise.

The main reason for giving these cases is the reception issues that iPhone 4 has been having. Apple made this announcement at a press conference in Antennagate recently and with these cases it looks to tackle the reception issues being faced by iPhone 4. Many consider it to be a great move by Apple as this problem of network reception has put the reputation of iPhone 4 at stake.

Once you purchase the phone you need to download a program application for this case from App store. Then you will have to login with your Apple ID or your iTunes Store ID, after which you will be able to choose the Bumper that you like and finally order it.

However, you can get the iPhone 4 Bumper or any other case from Apple for free only if your iPhone 4 is experiencing reception issues. For those who have purchased iPhone 4 before 23rd July, they need to apply before 22nd August or within a month of purchasing the phone.

These cases should take care of the problems that iPhone 4 users are experiencing, however if the problems still persist users can return the phone as long as it isn’t damaged. They will get full refund.
